The Dempster Highway - 740 KM (460 Miles) of gravel road that crosses the continental divide 3 times, traverses the Arctic Circle and weaves through 2 mountain ranges. For the majority of its length there is no sign of human presence, just wide open wilderness. It was peaceful out there, I liked it.
